Ludo

Ludo, also known as Pachisi, is a traditional board game that traces its origins to ancient India. It’s a game of strategy and luck, typically played by two to four players. Each player has a set of colored tokens that they must move around the board, following a circuitous path from their starting point to the central home column.

The game is played on a square board divided into a cross-shaped pattern, with each arm of the cross having three columns of six squares each. Players take turns rolling a die and moving their tokens accordingly. The goal is to race all your tokens around the board and into the central column, where they are safe from being captured by opponents.

Ludo combines elements of luck (from the dice rolls) and strategy (in deciding which tokens to move and how to block opponents). It’s a game that’s easy to learn but offers depth in gameplay, making it a popular choice for family gatherings and casual gaming sessions.
